Lions Club members are part of a national volunteer organization that meets the needs of local communities and the world. Our 1.35 million members perform community service in 207 countries and geographic areas. Although we are different in many ways, we share a core belief: community is what we make it.
Each year, the Ashland Lions Club presents four scholarship opportunities of up to $2,000 each:
- The David Fetig Memorial Scholarship – Awarded to an AHS student athlete and Ashland resident that exemplifies Mr. Fetig’s love for Ashland High School sports.
- The Harry Henchy Memorial Scholarship – Awarded to an AHS student and Ashland Resident that exemplifies Mr. Henchy’s commitment to the Ashland community.
- The Verne Breault Memorial Scholarship – Awarded to a graduating Keefe Technical High School student and Ashland resident pursuing additional education to further their career (college, trade school, or similar) that demonstrates an overall commitment to their advancement and the success of their community.
- The Ashland Lions Club Scholarship – Awarded to a student who is an Ashland resident, graduating from either the Keefe Technical or Ashland High Schools, that demonstrates an overall commitment to their advancement and the success of their community.
Scholarships are closed for 2024.
